Medulla
A physical space in Berlin — a community of practice building the capacities, relationships, and infrastructures needed to navigate crisis and create more liveable futures.
Not every civic infrastructure needs to be digital. Medulla is a room — a real one, at Dresdener Str. 113B in Berlin — built on the idea that collective resilience is a practice you build with other bodies in a shared space, not a service you subscribe to.
The problem
Turning “shared urgency” into anything more durable than a feeling usually needs a place to keep returning to: somewhere relationships can thicken, capacities can be rehearsed, and the people doing the work of building liveable futures can find each other before the next crisis, not during it.
What I built
I built the site carrying Medulla’s public presence — the events calendar, the way of joining, the words that describe what the space is for — so that a project defined by being physically present in Berlin still has a door that opens from anywhere.
Where it stands
Open to collaboration with people, organisations, and initiatives working toward collective resilience and civic imagination, with a running programme of public events at the space.
